EMDR Healing Intensives

Are you ready to break free from what's holding you back?

You’ve already been doing the hard work—but you want real change that you can see and feel.

EMDR intensives offer an opportunity to move through your trauma more quickly than traditional therapy, helping you gain relief sooner giving you transformation that lasts.

Why EMDR Intensives?

Sometimes, traditional therapy doesn’t move fast enough, or you can’t make as much progress as you want.

EMDR intensives speed up the process, allowing us to work through more material in a shorter amount of time.

Just like we sprinkle in nutrients to new plants to help them grow, EMDR Intensives can be a part of your overall treatment to help speed up your progress.

You've waited long enough to feel better

It's Time for Something Different

  • You feel stuck or find it hard to move past certain issues.

  • You know some of the root causes of your issues but don't know how to stop old patterns of relating or surviving.

  • You have limited time for therapy but want faster results.

  • You’re ready to address multiple layers of trauma in a focused, condensed time frame.

  • Traditional weekly therapy hasn’t brought the speed of progress you’re looking for and you're looking for something to boost your progress.

  • Process More Material in Less Time:

    • With longer time for a session, we can work through multiple memories or complex issues that may take longer to address in regular weekly sessions. This saves you time in the long run.

  • Experience Faster Healing:

    • Many clients experience significant breakthroughs in just one or two sessions, allowing you to feel relief much sooner.

  • Comprehensive Care, Tailored to Your Needs:

    • Expect a full treatment plan, including a free workbook with tips and tools to use throughout your treatmeant.

You've taken steps toward your healing...
Together, we can
leap forward towards:

What to Expect
in an EMDR Healing Intensive

During your initial 1.5 hour Inake session, we will:

1. Explore your history

2. Identify your goals for treatment

3. Create a plan for what memories you are ready to address, including which memories need a bit more prepping before we dive in.

4. Create a coping "toolbox" for you to use outside of session, as well as in-session

Once we've identified the memories that you're ready to process, we use bilateral stimulation (EMDR) as well as other techniques to desensitize the memories.

Unlike the traditional model of therapy, we have more time to spend in this essential stage, allowing you to deeply access and heal old wounds without the need to rush through.

Clients with complex trauma often report that they can make more emotional shifts and gain more clarity with this longer time frame.

Your therapist will work with you to design specific resourcing techniques that allow you to stay more grounded both inside and out of session.

Oftentimes, other approaches such as SandTray, Parts Work (i.e., IFS, parts-of-self), Polyvagal Theory and Somatic Experiencing will be used to help you regulate and better tolerate the memory.

Unlike traditional, limited therapy sessions, we are able to allot more time to closing the session. This might mean incorporating breathing or other grounding techniques to ensure you feel ready to move forward with your day.

Clients often report feeling much better, more empowered and more compassionate towards themselves at the end of session.

Clients also report feeling less triggered in between sessions, as compared to other therapies.
